Cedar Valley Baby and Lactation

I'm Elizabeth Kehret and I am a Lactation Consultant and Doula. I have been working with pregnant and postpartum women since 2012 through home visiting work which I continue to do outside of my own work as a Doula and Lactation Consultant.  I am passionate about birth culture and helping new parents feel informed and supported throughout the perinatal period.

Additionally, I am endorsed with the Iowa Association for Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health as an Infant Family Specialist.  One of the focuses of Infant Mental Health is promoting high-quality, nurturing relationships during infancy and early childhood.  My role is to support you and encourage your confidence as a parent during the earliest stages of parenting and support those relationships from the beginning.

I married my husband Bill in 2011 and together we have 5 children.  Outside of offering Doula and Lactation and my full time work, I also teach three prenatal classes a month online, and volunteer with Girl Scouts and my church.
